This two-day a week program focuses on social interactions through learning to play, work, and communicate with other children. During shared story time, play time, and group activities the children are encouraged to cooperate and interact with adults and other children. The program is specifically designed for the younger child and is filled with tools for exploring and discovering. Children will learn through language experiences with books, letters, and pre-writing skills. Beginning math & number skills are developed through the use of manipulative materials. They'll explore the world around them with hands on activities in science & nature and enjoy creative experiences with art & music. |

Four-Year Olds |

The focus of this program is on helping children get ready for Kindergarten in all areas of development; academic, social, physical and spiritual. The children build upon the skills gained in the three year old program and are encouraged to develop their readiness skills. They will work on letter and number recognition and pre-writing skills through activities designed to promote early literacy in math and language. Group times and circle times include opportunities for singing, movement, stories, and sharing. Hands on activities in science & nature and creative art experiences will enhance their learning experience. Key to all is the development of their faith life through Bible stories, songs, prayer, chapel times and service to others. |
